Rocky Vienna – President
A seasoned professional with over 20 years of experience in information technology development and management, Mr. Vienna has extensive expertise in system development, system integration, technology management, eCommerce, and business operations. He has held management positions at Bank of America, Apple Computer, and Coca-Cola Enterprises.
Before starting Vienna Technology Group in 2000, Mr. Vienna was the VP of Technology for Knight Ridder Digital (KRD). Mr. Vienna, a member of the executive management team, was responsible for IT Operations, Software Engineering, Software Operations, Web Infrastructure, Data Center Operations, Technical Support (helpdesk), and Facilities.
He has also served as Chief Information Officer and Vice President of Operations for two startups where he was a member of the executive management team and responsible for the development and operations of the e-business sites, software quality assurance, business applications development and support, IT infrastructure, professional services, customer service, training, documentation, and graphics.
Rocky has served on the Board of Directors for The Tech Museum of Innovation where he chaired the Technology Advisory Committee, and the Professional and Technical Consultants Association. He currently serves on the Board of Directors for the Society for Information Management.
Rocky is a Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA)
Karen Gibbons – Project Manager
Ms. Gibbons has over 15 years of experience in information technology. Starting as a programmer, her career included a variety of management positions including Director of the Chancellor’s Office Information Systems at the University of California Berkeley, and Director of Enterprise Reporting at Stanford University. Ms. Gibbons has experience implementing packages including Business Intelligence, Enterprise Learning Management, and Professional Services Automation.
Beyond her enterprise project management experience, she also has expertise in organizational alignment and ROI models.
